Sat. 10/8-Fri. 10/14

zuppa Toscana (potato-sausage-kale soup), grilled cheese sandwiches, bloomin' apples  
Black bean taco soup
creamy tuscan garlic chicken



Cooking plan:
make creamy garlic cauliflower sauce; turn big cauliflower into alfredo sauce; cut up the other one
cook chicken (2 whole chickens; 1 for Sunday, 1 for later in week); make broth??
make chili (fridge in zippy bag until ready to cook on Wednesday)
make apple pumpkin pudding (fridge in slow cooker bag until Wednesday afternoon)
make cheesy chicken florentine casserole
chop veggies and chicken for Tuesday and Thursday


Saturday:
absolutely no clue


Sunday:(Cub Scouts 5:00)
chicken gnocchi soup (uses carrots, onion, celery, spinach)--slow cook whole chicken and use that and broth; grilled cheese sandwiches; spinach pear and pomegranate salad (if pears ripe); apple crisp (**allow an hour to bake!!)


Monday:
cheesy chcken Florentine (add yellow squash, make ahead!), Italian bread, applesauce or melon


Tuesday:
creamy orzo with chicken sausage   (make with regular kielbasa, sub yellow squash for zucchini, use chopped roma tomatoes for canned tomatoes), applesauce or melon


Wednesday:  (C dance 4:45; J piano 5:00)
Chili recipe:
2 lb ground beef
2 cans beans (black, chili, etc.)
2 cans deiced tomatoes
1 8 oz can tomato sauce
2 medium onions, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 Tbs chili powder
Cookbeef. Place in 5 qt. slow cooker. Add rest of ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4 hours.
cinnamon rolls, applesauce; slow cooker apple pumpkin pudding (make ahead and place in slow cooker bag in zippie bag or bowl in fridge then put in slow cooker when come home before dance/music lessons; needs 2.5 hours to cook)


Thursday: (C piano 6:00)
cheesy chicken, broccoli, and rice casserolespinach pear and pomegranate salad (if pears ripe) or applesauce


Friday:
leftovers

Saturday:
Pork roast with apples, carrots, and rosemarycrash hot sweet potatoes,
