Thanksgiving cooking plan

Wednesday:
Roast turkey, carve
Make stuffing (sauteed onion and celery, cut up french bread, herbs, Italian sausage, chicken stock X 2 C)
Make sweet potato casserole X 2 (or do Thursday)
make cranberry salad
make pumpkin pecan bars (double)

Thursday:
reheat turkey in roaster
reheat stuffing in crock pot
bake sweet potato casserole
make veggie dishes: creamed corn
make pumpkin pie cake
make pecan pie cobbler
make pumpkin dip


Friday:
pack and head to Topeka
Food:
sweet potatoes
pumpkin dip
creamed corn
leftover desserts
cranberry salad

Treat: campfire cones (sugar cones, chocolate chips, pecans, peanut butter chips, mini marshmallows); hot cocoa, cider, chai; big marshmallows
Friday supper: grilled sausage, campfire mac and cheese, apples/pears, broccoli/carrots
Saturday lunch: frito chili pie, apples, cheese, extra fritos
breakfast: oatmeal with blueberries (freezer), bananas, brown sugar, cinnamon; banana boats (peanut butter, chocolate chips)
Saturday supper: hot dog/hamburger,chips (add some fruit or veggies or something)
Sunday breakfast: sausage biscuits (add some fruit, oatmeal)

Saturday:

Sunday: (Jamboree on the Air 3:00- 5:00; Cub Scouts 6:00-7:30)

slow cooker lasagna soup (add meatballs),, bloomin' apples


Wednesday: (J music 4:30-5:00; C dance 6:45)
freezer to slow cooker Italian wedding soup (use swiss chard and leftover spinach from lasagna soup instead of escarole); double batch and freeze half per directions),  grilled cheese sandwiches


Thursday:
pigs in a blanket, macaroni and cheese, broccoli
