Mixed greens strawberry salad


Saturday: (Mary Lou still in town?)
Process strawberries and blueberries (strawberries: slice and freeze; puree and freeze)
Make fruit salsa (substitute available fresh fruit) OR strawberry mango salsa
Make tomato salsa
Make zucchini, coconut, lime, blueberry, banana bread
zucchini casserole, Hawaiian chicken thighs, strawberry mango jicama salad

Sunday:
pasta, sauce and meatballs with tomato and fresh basil crostini and spinach and avocado salad
(a meatball recipe but not my usual one from Pasta, Please! by Country Woman magazine)

Monday:
Make ice cream!
chicken gyros,
cucumber tomato mozzarella salad with balsamic
fruit salsa

Tuesday:
Make ice cream!
Grilled steak, corn on the cob, jicama fries, Gourmet salad, potato packets, mushrooms

Wednesday:
Rotini pasta with chicken, broccoli, tomatoes, parmesan, and fresh basil, blueberry romaine salad (substitute cheddar cheese for swiss)

Thursday: (BBQ with school staff here)
Grizzly burgers and hot dogs with fixings (ketchup, mustard, mayo, pickles, onion, lettuce, tomato, buns)--enough for 18-20 people)
Homemade ice cream (vanilla, strawberry, blueberry (or mixed berry), nectarine ??)
Watermelon (sticks and stars)
Canned pop, various
Plus what everyone else brings


Friday: (4th of July; Mom and Dad coming)
Grizzly burgers and hot dogs with fixings (ketchup, mustard, mayo, pickles, onion, lettuce, tomato, buns)--enough for 6-7 adults and 3 kids
Homemade ice cream (vanilla, strawberry, blueberry (or mixed berry), nectarine ??)
Watermelon (sticks and stars)
Corn on the cob (??)
Deviled eggs (Billye)
Chips and Jello (Mom)

Monday: (D in NYC/DC)
pasta or chicken salad, fruit

Tuesday: (D in NYC/DC; Z over night visit??)

Wednesday: (D in NYC/DC)
sandwiches, cottage cheese, fruit (picnic?)

Thursday: (D in NYC/DC)
leftovers or out to eat

Saturday:
citrus garlic flank steak
grilled mushrooms, potato packets, kale with zucchini 
hot dogs for kids

Sunday:
artichoke and spinach enchiladas (sub rotisserie chicken for mushrooms), garlicky mushrooms and kale, broccoli with cheese sauce


Monday:
Beef stuffed zucchini, salad, pan fried kale


Tuesday:
cheeseburgers, corn on the cob, fruit, chips, grilled stuffed portobellos


Wednesday:
mock lasagna (pasta, sauce, cottage cheese, mozzarella cheese, shredded squash), cucumber tomato lettuce salad, easy cheesy zucchini casserole bake (use lots of scallions)


Thursday:
zucchini casserole  add ham, fruit


Friday:
BB pickup at 4:30!!
Volunteer/train and eat out in Wichita

Use up: carrots, potatoes, iceberg lettuce, zucchini, yellow squash, cabbage packets

garlicky mushrooms and kale
corn and bacon casserole (side)
blueberry banana bread
pan fried kale
chicken lasagna (add zucchini)

 Tropical Kale Slushy4 servings
Combine
2 chopped stemmed kale leaves,
2 cups chopped fresh pineapple,
1 peeled kiwi, and
1/4 cup (loosely packed) fresh mint leaves in a blender. Add ice and enough water to cover; purée until smooth.
peach/nectarine preserves (need pectin, jars)


Saturday:
bake carrot zucchini muffins
sausage and zucchini pasta toss, blackberry nectarine cobbler

Sunday: (D and B to Baxter)
tortilla pizza cups, fruit


Monday:
shish-ke-bobs (steak  plus button mushrooms, onion, and squash), corn on the cob, veggie crunch salad, grilled stuffed portobellos


Tuesday:
baked pineapple teriyaki chicken thighs, salad, rice, fruit, steamed asparagus


Wednesday:
