Saturday: (camping; football at Haysville 10:30; Z bday party 3:00-5:00)
healthier than egg rolls (good for camping)  sweet and sour sauce
crockpot smoked sausage and hashbrown casserole, apples


Sunday: (camping)
slow cooker pumpkin french toast
Tuscan chicken mac and cheese, veggies or salad



Monday: (C volleyball game 7:30; D WWIIHC in Wichita)
BBQ meatballs, noodles


Tuesday: (J music 4:00-4:30; C volleyball practice 5:30-6:30; J football 6:00-8:00)

Wednesday: (Z dance 5:30-6:15; J practice 6:00-8:00)
saucy chicken and tortellini (slow cooker)


Thursday: (HALLOWEEN; J drum line @ ?? ; trick or treat down the street)
cheesy chicken, broccoli, and rice casserole,applesauce


Friday: (KIDS NO SCHOOL)
skillet butternut squash sausage and penne pasta


BBQ sauce
Spice Rub
  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 2 tsp EACH garlic powder, salt
  • 1 tsp EACH onion powder, chipotle powder, pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional for more heat
Barbecue Sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups ketchup
  • 1/3 cup molasses
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup seedless blackberry preserves
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon reserved Spice Rub from above
  • 1 tablespoon mesquite liquid smoke optional but recommended*
