Sat. 8/27-Fri. 9/2

Cooking plan:
make ahead pizza sloppy joes (double recipe0
make applesauce/plumsauce if fruit still OK
make orange chicken
make (and cook if time) cheeseburger soup


Saturday:
Grilled lime butter salmon (fish sticks for kids)


Sunday:
Cub Scout swim party and cook out; bring 6-8 bags chips and something else

Monday: (J tae kwan do 5:30)
pizza sloppy joes, applesauce, chips, cottage cheese


Tuesday: (C tumbling 6:45)
hot ham and cheese crescent roll roll ups, fruit, cottage cheese


Wednesday: (C dance 4:45; J piano 5:30)
Sweet Orange Chicken (ToH Slow Cooker book pg. 44)
3 Tbs flour
1 broiler/fryer chicken (3-4 lb), cut upand skin removed
2/3 C orange marmalade
2/3 C BBQ sauce
1/4 C soy sauce
ginger
Serve with rice or noodles
Place flour in large zippy bag. Add chicken and shake to coat. place in 3 qt slow cooker.
In small bowl combine orange marmalade, BBQ sauce, soy suace and ginger; pour over chicken; cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours


Thursday: (C piano 6:00)
cheeseburger soup, bread or grilled cheese, fruit


Friday:
pancakes/waffles, scrambled eggs, fruit
