Sat. 2/14-Fri. 2/20

zucchini X 6
spaghetti squash (5 new ones plus 2 older ones)
green beans (freezer)
fresh ginger
large pizza rounds (2)
kiwi
cauliflower (1)
cucumbers
roma tomatoes
celery
baking potatoes
new potatoes
red potatoes
snow peas (2 big packages)


Uses BB produce:
chicken yakisoba (broccoli, zucchini, mushrooms, onion, ginger)
spaghetti squash primavera (spaghetti squash, tomatoes, zucchini)
make your own pizza (pizza crusts)


Leftover recipes:
roasted green beans
orange broccoli stir fry (broccoli, onion, orange, asparagus--optional, carrot, zucchini, ginger)
Mexican rice skillet supper


 Other:
sweet spiced winter squash casserole (allow 2 1/2 hours to make this! Or roast squash in advance)
Hearty beef and noodles
corn chowder
cheesy chicken and rice
Sizzling salisbury steak with buttered noodles (S&D 1/12 pg. 31), green beans


COOKING PLAN:
zucchini bread/muffins: apple zucchini bread, glazed lemon zucchini muffins
make cauliflower alfredo sauce
make cucumber salad dressing
freeze acorn squash after mashing
make crepe/pancake batter and put in fridge


Saturday:
Subway, fruit, etc. after circus


Sunday:
chicken and steak fajitas with squash, mushrooms, onion, asparagus; espinaca dip (spinach, tomatoes); avocado; MAKE TORTILLA CHIPS with BB tortillas in fridge


Monday: (President's Day; A no school; kids BB game 5:30; D conferences until 8:00)
make-your-own tortilla pizza (kids); focaccia chicken pesto pizza with mushrooms, zucchini, tomato, etc.


Tuesday:
pancakes/veggie crepes, fruit salad (uses squash, mushrooms, onion, asparagus), fruit salad (uses blueberries, strawberries, oranges/tangelos, pineapple)


Wednesday: (no WW--Ash Wednesday service; D class)
leftovers or soup and sandwiches


Thursday:
one pot cheesy pasta and sausage,  (uses squash, onion, etc.), focaccia bread or sour dough bread


Friday: (D bowling competition until 7:00ish)
spaghetti and meatballs, cucumbers and carrots with dressing dip, focaccia bread or sour dough bread
